Cozy coffee chat

One day had a talk with a girl that I know,

Told her that it was some time I liked to use the label myself under the category “Christian”

Then there is the Jews I said – they don’t seem to like the last part of the Bible – this label was not the headline as well.

Expressed for her that - first I came to faith I looked into the direction of churches – and here I did not find what I was reading in Bible.

Said to her – I am simply a girl that believes her Creator and as good as able – tries to live Bible

“Yes and how exactly is that” she asked

Gentlemen suddenly a good advice seemed pretty expensive.

How the heck could I in about 3 minutes, with few lines and half a cup of coffee - express nearly 8 years extremely intensive Bible Study into, I mean into something easy digestible?

She leaves not that far from where I live, and coffee was in kitchen in the house I live

I slightly hesitated – that gave her a reason to come up with the Question:

“What is wrong with the priest nearby” and she mentioned his name.

Not that there is anything “wrong” with him or any other priest that’s a fact – that would be between the judge and the priest – I am just a merely servant – that’s another fact.

For sure gentlemen, it was a nice cozy cup of coffee-talk that day.

But that also gave me a reason to mind travel a bit back in time

Mind traveling into a certain spot hidden in the backpack of experiences - The spot is the church

The priest the very person mentioned

Was just in season with a very well Danish celebrated tradition

“Fastelavn”

It is a carnival when I ask Google for a translation; it is a very popular tradition among many Danish people – kids are dressed – maybe most of all like the Halloween you got there – (which is on its way to Denmark too) the carnival is as you might figured out already – heathen oh so heathen and so beautiful accepted in the mind of Danish mind

I went to church this Sunday oh yes as born and growing up in a Sunday enthusiastic country I assumed this was the very spot to find like minded people

Pitcher went to pulpit with a nice curly wig
And red nice formed as a ball, plastic clown nose

……….”After all, we are not to forget the children”

Yes, children are important – extremely important if we go ask what Bible have to say – but, but, but,

Definitely absolutely and extremely sure you folks know what the Bible expresses Bible about this……….

I did not at that particularly Sunday.

Time after this happening – I read an article in a magazine. The article told a story of a father with a child and how much money this father was able to spend each week – food, cloths – daily necessities.

It was a Danish father living in Denmark – the place that many Danish people would express as a society with a well functional welfare – ready to help needy people where it was necessary …..This story told something different!!

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

Went to the preacher – knocked on his door –he opened – gave him the magazine and I asked:

“What can church do in a situation like this?”

His answer was something like:

“Danish church has no opportunity for doing anything in such a situation”

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

This church is the Danish Church supported by government……….

Went home leaving magazine with the priest – and signed out of church.

Good day beautiful Texas, be nice and treat people well!!

Salom folks, greetings in Shalom.

Today I would like to tell you about a little country; it is a land consisting of small islands.

Denmark is the name and gentlemen it is occupied by people who call themselves Danes

Through time the Danes showed themselves as extremely wise – you see they invited well I figure it was the King and his Queen that determined and decided that the kingdom of Denmark where Danes lived were to be called a nation of Christianity

The kingdoms of heathens were to change. People were to be Christianized.

Yep – oh yes

But you see, Danish people are very much at that time as nowadays – hmm – very Danish.

And as the churches were to be build Danes reaction were – as I expressed – extremely Danish!!

“Aha – we are to become “Christians”. New traditions, aaarrhg can that be good!!?!! We know very well what we have at this moment, why the heck changes anything that seems to function as – most of all good enough!!?!!”

When the churches were build all over country new ways new traditions new places were to be acknowledge in the horizon of the Danish mind.

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

Do you know by now just HOW huge difficulties human race are to add something new – do you know by now just how easy human race persuade them to stay in the cotton wallpapered comfort zone?

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

By any chance was Denmark the land of all nations wandering into the sphere of wisdom?

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

“AHA – we will crush all our pots and pans – dust crumbles broken fragments we will add the walls when we are building – oh what a great idea”

“Yes, and let us build the exact spot where we used to perform our traditions – oh my we are doing so great here”

“Well then there is the traditions – let’s just move them a tiny bit in season – you see that is not that much change then”

Anyone hear the thought from the past: “Everyone will buy this – furthermore due a bit time - No one will ever know”

Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

2Ki 17:33 They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.

Luk 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

2Ki 17:41 So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

HMM gentlemen - almost forgot this……….

Isa 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

Jer 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Jer 10:3 for the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

Jer 10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

Did I ever mention before…..

“Whatever deed man does, in the sphere of invisible, spirituality, I guess is the word I can use, inflect on..........forever after”

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

Bondage is a choice --- or is it not?

Walls of invisibleness that keeps human as hostage

The dance of the golden calf – smiles – or should I paraphrase the line

The dance of the golden tree – as drinking coca cola – ahh words are for sure so extremely and abundantly glamorous to merge into lines.

What is free will – and what is not?

See gentlemen I will for now leave you with that question to wonder and perhaps even – ponder - OR is it just a challenge…….

Joyous and shalom among you all this beautiful Shabbat, Shabbat shalom Gentlemen

A bondservant lone
